K3 Preschool Class
– Must be 3 by September 1st
– Learn letter, color, and number recognition
– Enjoy Bible stories and songs
– Enjoy nursery rhymes, and art
– Learn to play in gym times and games
– Must be potty-trained
K4 Preschool Class
– Must be 4 by September 1st
– Enjoy Bible stories and songs
– Learn basic phonics
– Learn number concepts from 1–20
– Learn basic science, safety, and health
– Establish proper routines and classroom habits
– Enjoy learning in art, poetry, and show-and-tell
– Play in recess, gym time, and games
– Participate in theme days
K5 Kindergarten Class
– Must be 5 by October 1st
– Enjoy Bible stories, songs, and chapel
– Learn number concepts 1–100, addition, subtraction, money value, and time
– Continued phonics education and reading groups
– Learn basic science, safety, and health
– Enjoy learning in art, writing, poetry, Kindermusik
– Begin learning basic Spanish
– Play in recess, field trips, gym time, and games
– Participate in theme days
Early Care & Extended Care
At Community we recognize that the regular school day hours are not an exact match for the schedules of working parents. For the convenience of families, we offer extended hours of child care both before and after school for a low hourly rate. Our “early care” is a drop in program between 7:15 AM when we open and 8:00 AM when students are able to transition to regular classrooms. Our “extended care” program opens at the end of the regular school day (3:15 PM) and closes at 5:30 PM.
